Billing

Everything about your subscription — plan, payment method and invoices — lives in the billing portal, reachable from your workspace settings.

A subscription belongs to a workspace

Billing follows the workspace, not the person. Charges, the plan and its limits all attach to one workspace, and each workspace you create carries its own subscription.

That matters most if you keep clients or brands in separate workspaces: they are separate subscriptions, billed separately, each with its own allowances.

Trials

Where a plan offers a trial, its length and whether it asks for a payment method up front are shown before you start it. If no card is required, nothing is charged when the trial ends — the workspace simply drops to no active plan until you choose one.

Changing plan

Open the billing portal from your workspace settings and choose another plan. Moving to a larger plan raises your allowances; moving to a smaller one is safe for the data you already have — see moving to a smaller plan.

You can also switch between monthly and yearly billing there, where your plan offers both.

Invoices and payment method

The billing portal holds every invoice issued for the workspace, and is where you update the card or billing details on file. Invoices are issued per workspace, under the billing details that workspace carries.

Cancelling

Cancelling stops the subscription renewing. The workspace keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then drops to no active plan.

Resuming before that period ends puts the subscription back as it was, with no gap.

Taking your content with you

The REST API reads your posts, media and connected accounts back to you at any time, so you can export everything before you go — or move it to a self-hosted instance.
