Mixpost Cloud and a self-hosted Mixpost Pro instance run the same software. The choice is not about features — it is about who does the operational work, and where your data sits.

Which one fits
Choose Cloud if publishing is the job and infrastructure is not. The heaviest part of running Mixpost yourself is not the server — it is getting a developer app approved by each social platform, which can take weeks per network and has to be maintained as their policies change. Cloud carries that for you.
Choose self-hosting if your data must stay on infrastructure you control, if you want to extend Mixpost in your own Laravel application, or if a one-off licence suits you better than a subscription.
Mixpost Lite is the free, self-hosted edition for a single user. It is a smaller product than Pro — if you are comparing it with Cloud, compare it with the Pro feature set rather than assuming parity.
Where Enterprise fits
Mixpost Enterprise is easy to mistake for "the big plan". It is not a larger version of Pro for your own use — it is Pro plus the tooling to sell it to other people: subscription plans, a billing portal, customer onboarding and an admin panel over every workspace.
Pick Enterprise when you want to run your own social media SaaS. If you only want to use Mixpost for your own brands or clients, Pro — self-hosted or on Cloud — is the product you want, however large you are.
Mixpost Cloud itself runs on Enterprise. That is what it is for.
Moving between them
Nothing locks you in either direction. The REST API reads your posts, media, tags and connected accounts back to you, so the content you build on Cloud can be exported, and a self-hosted instance can be handed over the same way.
Social connections are the exception: they are authorisations granted to a specific developer app, so accounts are reconnected once on the other side rather than transferred.
